In 2022, Chattanooga was chosen as one of 15 cities to participate in the National League of Cities’ (NLC) Southern Cities Economic Inclusion Initiative (SCEI). In collaboration with philanthropic partners and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, this initiative provides peer learning, technical assistance, and funding to help cities craft and implement impactful economic inclusion strategies.
