Across our nation, we are witnessing an increase in intimidating behaviors and incivility. To counter this trend, it is crucial to foster environments where respect, understanding, and collaboration can flourish, both in our communities and workplaces.

Join the American Public Health Association, American Psychological Association, International City/County Management Association (ICMA), and the National League of Cities (NLC) for an insightful conversation on the impact of incivility on public servants, including city managers, health professionals, and elected officials. This event will provide a platform for those who have experienced aggression to share their stories and offer effective strategies to rebuild trust, promote community kindness, support mental health, and foster healthy community engagement.

This Town Hall-style event will feature mental health experts and individuals willing to share their experiences with incivility.

This will be a hybrid event
