This workshop will help city staff and officials identify the unique strengths their city can utilize to develop new funding mechanisms for their work. Attendees will review strategies for building financial resilience within city government, and how these strategies can be used to promote health and wellbeing in their local communities. If you’re looking to better understand how you can utilize your city’s strengths to develop creative and resilient funding mechanisms for your work, this workshop is for you!

This free two-part workshop is part of the Cities of Opportunity Capacities Workshops series. These workshops offer expert perspectives, city examples, and peer discussions focusing on the key capacities all cities need to make effective change.

This workshop will be held over two sessions. The first session will take place on Wednesday, April 9 and will provide a deep dive into the topic, featuring a city success panel discussion, and will last for 2 hours. The second session will be held on Wednesday, May 7 at 12:30 PM ET for 90 minutes and hold time for peer discussion. If you are registered for the first session, you will be automatically registered for the second session.
