The National League of Cities is thrilled to host its first Hispanic Elected Local Officials (HELO) Summer Conference since 2019 in the beautiful and historic Coral Gables, Florida, situated southwest of downtown Miami.
HELO is a space for members to make meaningful connections with fellow Hispanic and Latino/a local officials, share best practices, and advocate for policies that benefit their community. As the group continues to address current issues facing the Latino/a and Hispanic communities, this conference will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to:
- Connect with your peers from across the country, including Hispanic and Latino/a local officials and municipal staff.
- Learn what issues and projects municipalities in the area are taking on.
- Attend workshops to bring back tools and resources to enhance your city.
- Explore creative solutions to challenges experienced in your communities.
