Cities of all sizes are committed to providing safe and healthy housing for all residents, a task that is especially urgent and challenging during the COVID-19 pandemic and recovery, with the knowledge that lead paint and other housing hazards are disproportionately concentrated in communities of color. Local partner organizations can play a key role in successfully advancing policies, programs, and practices to improve housing equity in their communities.
