SCEI empowers local leaders to advance economic inclusion through peer learning, technical assistance, and planning and implementation grants. This initiative strengthens municipal efforts to create equitable economic opportunities.
Eligibility
Cities, towns and villages in the following states are eligible to apply: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
What You Will Learn
Webinars are tailored to provide a comprehensive overview of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the next SCEI cohort starting in May 2025. You need only attend the webinar on the date that works for you. During each webinar, NLC staff will:
- Explain the application process and timeline.
- Highlight program requirements and key compliance criteria.
- Answer questions to help you navigate the application successfully.
- Share tips on what the selection committee values in applications.
