Unsheltered homelessness is a national crisis, impacting cities, towns and villages of all sizes and geographic regions. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) annual Point-in-Time Count for 2023 marked the highest number of people reported as experiencing homelessness on a single night – 650,000.

On Thursday, September 12 at 1:00 PM ET, join NLC and Pallet Shelter to learn how cities like Denver, CO have been addressing unsheltered homelessness with urgency, thoughtfully integrating cross-sectoral collaboration and community engagement into an interdepartmental city strategy that has generated positive outcomes, which include transitions to interim and permanent housing in addition to wider community benefits like reductions in 911 and 311 calls.

Attendees will leave the webinar with tools to develop innovative strategies in your city, town or village to safely move unhoused people off the streets and into dignified spaces with wrap-around care.
