The City Health Dashboard offers free data on 40+ measures of health and drivers of health across five domains to over 1,100 cities in all 50 states. In efforts to expand the Dashboard and its reach, the Put Us on the Map Challenge was launched – an initiative aimed at smaller cities (with a population of 50,000 or less) as an opportunity to get their city added to the website. By joining the Dashboard, cities gain access to valuable data and innovative features to help guide decision-making and drive change. To date, over 140 cities through the Challenge, including Decatur, GA, Maplewood, NJ, Nacogdoches, TX, and Stafford Township, NJ, have been added.
In this exclusive event for NLC members, attendees will learn more about this exciting opportunity for smaller cities, including how to apply to the Put Us on the Map Challenge, what selected cities will receive if accepted, and how previous winners have put the data to use to advance local health and equity.
