Dana D’Orazio, Director of Leadership, Development and Continuing Education
Prior to her role leading NLC University, Dana was a certified leadership and executive coach and adjunct instructor of leadership development. She has spent over 15 years in the education and training space and has experience in technical assistance, facilitation, curriculum development, organizational change and strategic transformation and growth. She lends her expertise to create learning experiences and strategic programming to support the nation’s local government leaders and serves as an advisor for internal leadership development and coaching at NLC.
Dana holds a master’s degree in public affairs with a concentration in education from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. She also holds certificates in Executive Leadership Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas and Design Thinking from Portland State University.
