Stacy Richardson, is the Interim Senior Executive and Director, Center for Municipal Practice at the National League of Cities in Washington, D.C. In this role, Stacy advises the CEO and implements priority projects for the organization.
Stacy has over a decade of experience working with and for local governments. Before joining the National League of Cities, Stacy served as the Chief of Staff to Mayor Andy Berke in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, Stacy led several signature projects, including leading the civilian response to a domestic terror attack, launching an initiative to end homelessness among veterans, and leading a comprehensive re-organization of the city government. She was selected to participate in the Harvard Young American Leaders Program and was a 2019-2020 Marshall Memorial Fellow. Richardson holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California.
