NLC Partners with IGNITE to Showcase Mayor Voices During Pandemic

National League of Cities (NLC) and IGNITE Cities have partnered to showcase the voice of local leaders with the launch of “On the Frontlines: Conversations with Mayors.” The new video showcase will allow mayors to tell how they are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in their communities and actions they are taking to protect the health and welfare of their residents.  

From stay-at-home orders to eviction moratoriums, mayors across the United States are being decisive and making tough decisions to ensure the safety of their communities. NLC and IGNITE are inviting mayors to tell the story of their communities in their own words. NLC and IGNITE will help to share these stories on their platforms and with other local officials to show how local leaders are leading with urgency during this crisis.
