2022 HAS BEEN AN EXCITING YEAR – one in which our entire National League of Cities (NLC) family has come together in person for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. Despite being apart for so long, we have managed to achieve so much together in the last several years, from the success of our Cities Are Essential campaign to the passage of the American Rescue Plan Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act. NLC delivered for our members when the pandemic was at its worst – but those efforts were just the beginning.
Now that communities have federal funds in hand, NLC has spent the last year working hard to turn our advocacy into action and help America’s cities, towns and villages take advantage of these hard-won investments to the fullest extent possible.
